Iain was born in September 1972 and grew up in Hamilton in central Scotland. He went to Hutchesons' Grammar School in Glasgow before proceeding to Exeter University where he graduated with an honours degree in politics.
Annie was born and raised in Glasgow and lives in the North East with her son where she has done for most of her life. Being a proud Glaswegian she loves the diversity and culture that the city has to offer. Annie has served as Member of the Scottish Parliament for Glasgow since 2016.
Before becoming Mayor, Andy combined a career at John Lewis, Britain’s most successful workers’ co-operative, with a host of high-profile economic development roles, working with local and national government.
David was born in Dumfries and grew up in Wamphray, where his mother ran the Red House Hotel, and in Lockerbie, where he went to school. He lives in Moffat and has three grown up children, who all attended Moffat Academy.
Daniel was brought up in Surrey, before going to Stirling University to study Business Studies with French and Spanish. He then worked in telecommunications for ten years as an international account manager, travelling extensively in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Before becoming the MP for Darlington, Peter Gibson was a local solicitor that believes that people want more MPs who have had real life experiences to take with them to Westminster to better represent them.
Michael was first elected Member of Parliament for the Mid Staffordshire constituency, which included the City of Lichfield, in 1992 after first having a career as a broadcaster and then in broadcast engineering and management. In 1997, the constituency was changed and renamed back to ‘Lichfield’
Lord Duncan currently serves as Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords, having been Minister for Climate Change in the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from July 2019 to February 2020.
