Manchester Pride parade

Pride events have been taking place in Manchester for over 22 years and the current Manchester Pride organisation is in its tenth year of organising the festival.It will be the fifth year that LGBTory has taken part in the Manchester Pride parade and we want our appearance to be as successful, if not more so, than previous years!  We will be flying the Conservative LGBT flag in the parade so do please join us!

London Pride parade

From the London LGBT Community Pride website:"40 years since the first national conference for LGBT equality and with equal marriage in sight, 2013 is the perfect time for us to come together and celebrate the history and achievements of our community in London with a spectacular Parade through the heart of the Capital. Our theme this year is Love (and Marriage)."LGBTory will be flying the Conservative LGBT flag at this event so do please come along to walk with us in the parade!

London fundraising BBQ

LGBTory member Mark Hanlon is kindly hosting a fundraising barbeque for LGBTory supporters on his riverside roof garden.Tickets are £20.00 and cover food and a limited number of drinks, so feel free to bring a bottle!  In good Tory tradition there will be a raffle.  Prizes will be greatfully accepted.If the weather is inclement the event will continue indoors.  There is a sandy beach accessible at low-tide. 

LGBTory conference curry night

Following the success of the LGBTory conference curry on the eve of the start of Conservative Party conference 2012 in Birmingham, we are organising a second one, this time in Manchester, and again to coincide with the start of the Annual Party conference.DETAILS:Ashoka Restaurant Manchester

Manchester M1 6DFWe have been able to negotiate a fixed price of £15 per head for this meal, to include poppadoms, naan breads, rices and curries.  All drinks are to be paid for as they are ordered.

LGBTory London Christmas Get-together

It's Christmas! Join LGBTory for festive fun on Wednesday 12th December on the 2nd Floor, The Edge Bar, Soho Square, London at 6.30pm - 9pm.

If you have been to an LGBTory event before you will know they always fun. If you haven't been before, this is a great opportunity to meet a welcoming crowd and find out more about us.

Queer Question Time

On Sunday 18 November 2012, The LGF is hosting the 2nd Queer Question Time and will be providing members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community to come together and provide you with the opportunity for you to ask the panel your questions.

The event will have representation from Labour and the Liberal Democrats, and for the Conservatives, on the panel will be Cllr Chris Clarkson so PLEASE COME ALONG TO SUPPORT HIM!

There will no doubt be a number of us going for drinks and perhaps food following too!

Location - P8 - Hall 3 - Party ZoneFor the first-ever time, LGBTory will have a stand at Conservative Party conference 2012.This will be an excellent opportunity to showcase not only what LGBTory has been doing but also to put on public record within the Party, what the Conservatives have achieved so far on LGBT issues whilst in government.  It will also be an opportunity to engage with Party members from the grassroots up to cabinet level.
