London Assembly Member and Patron
Emma Best was born and raised in London. She is a Londonwide GLA Assembly Member and is the Deputy Leader of the Opposition on Waltham Forest Council.
Before being elected to the GLA Emma worked in children services, helping some of London’s most vulnerable children and young people access services and support.
She is a passionate campaigner for early intervention to reduce violent crime having seen first-hand it’s devastating effects.
Emma also plays and coaches football in her spare time.
