Conservative Member of Parliament for Mid Bedfordshire
Blake Stephenson has been the MP for Mid Bedfordshire since 2024. In November 2024 he is was appointed Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Shadow Chancellor, Mel Stride, and supports the shadow treasury team to hold the Chancellor of the Exchequer and her Ministerial team to account on public spending, financial services policy, taxation, and economic growth. He is also a Member of the Environmental Audit Select Committee.
After being Called to the Bar, Blake specialised in ethics and regulatory compliance roles within wholesale financial markets, working at the London Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and the FCA.
