We are delighted to announce that Dr David Jeffery is our Vice-Chair for Outreach.
Dr David's role will be key as we close off the last few months of the 2025/2026 term. He will help us continue to reach people both within and outside of the Conservative Party, broadening our message and building on what has been a great year for the organisation. As we go into 2026 with a record high for members, up 68% since 2018. Dr David will be pivotal as we continue to grow.

Ahead of this announcement, LGBT+ Conservatives Vice-Chair for Outreach Dr David Jeffery said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have been appointed Outreach Officer for LGBT+ Conservatives and I'm looking forward to working with the various groups in our Conservative family to amplify our impact on the ground and take the fight to Labour, the Lib Dems, and Reform".
In a statement sent to members today, the Chairman of the LGBT+ Conservatives Luke Robert Black welcomed this new appointment: “I am delighted to finally announce that Dr David will be taking on this role. David had been stepping up into this space for the last few months already and has been a very strong, effective member of our team to date. David has really been helping us to reach old and new audiences with our message. I think he will be a real asset to our team and looking forward to working with him".
