Mark Fletcher

We are delighted to announce that Mark Fletcher, former Conservative MP for Bolsover 2019-2024, is the guest speaker for this month's LGBT+ Conservatives Social.

Mark is a long-term member of the LGBT+ Conservatives and served as the first ever Conservative MP for Bolsover - unseating one of Labour's most famous MPs, Dennis Skinner. Dennis held the seat since the 1970 election - and Mark breathed new life into the role after decades of poor service. In Mark's parliamentary career, he held a serious of junior ministerial roles, working for the Rt. Hon. Jeremy Hunt MP and the Rt. Hon. Kwasi Kwarteng.

Outside of politics, Mark boasts an impressive business career and in the healthcare sector.
